I-TEXGEO to be Featured at European Researchers' Night
The I-TEXGEO will participate in the European Researchers’ Night on September 25.
On September 25, the I-TEXGEO project will participate in the European Researchers’ Night, presenting its latest advancements in IoT-supported electronic geotextiles for sustainable and smart precision agriculture. The project will be featured simultaneously at the BBG Night at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and the TWISE Plus event at Cité des Sciences Tunis.
During the event, the I-TEXGEO team will focus on the core technological milestones achieved in the field of smart agriculture. The project will highlight its ongoing work in advanced printed electronics.
This dual participation allows I-TEXGEO to engage with a highly diverse audience:
At ITU, the focus will be on inspiring the next generation of researchers by bridging multidisciplinary engineering with real-world sustainability challenges.
Meanwhile, at the Tunis event, the project's technological breakthroughs will be presented to key international figures and policymakers, including Mr. Giuseppe Perrone, Ambassador of the European Union to Tunisia, and Ms. Cristina Gomez, representative of MSCA GLOPOL.
Through these international platforms, I-TEXGEO continues to demonstrate how the seamless integration of intelligent textiles and open-source IoT networks can pave the way for the future of sustainable farming.
